Outside of work, Farhana enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and two children, which helps her maintain balance and fulfillment in both her personal and professional life
Priya Subramanyam completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India and has been working in the field of physiotherapy for over 10 years. Priya has extensive experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including neck, shoulder, and back pain, arthritis, and sports injuries.
She is committed to continuous learning and enhancing her skills to improve patient outcomes. By providing patient education and tailored exercises, she helps individuals achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life. In addition to her clinical experience, Priya has completed specialized courses such as McKenzie A and B for neck, upper back, and lower back conditions, the APTEI course for neck and thorax rehabilitation, and the R2P concussion assessment and management course.
In her spare time, Priya enjoys spending time with her family and listening to music.
Scott is a Registered Physiotherapist with 29 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and has since pursued extensive post-graduate training, including McKenzie MDT certification, vestibular rehabilitation, and advanced musculoskeletal management. He specializes in outpatient orthopedics and has a strong background in treating motor vehicle accident and workplace injury claims.
With expertise in the McKenzie MDT system, vestibular disorders, and gym-based rehabilitation, Scott takes a patient-centered approach to help individuals recover effectively and achieve their goals. He values clear communication and collaboration with patients, physicians, and insurers to ensure optimal care.
Sandhiya began her journey in India, earning a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2004 and gaining over a decade of experience treating orthopedic and neurological conditions. In 2016, she moved to Canada, where she has been a licensed physiotherapist for 7 years, integrating her international expertise into diverse healthcare settings, including outpatient musculoskeletal care, acute care, long-term care, and community facilities.
Recently, she earned a Master’s in Upper Extremity and Rehabilitation from the University of Western Ontario, solidifying her expertise as a hand therapist and advanced practitioner in upper extremity care. Sandhiya is deeply dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, personalized care that distinguishes her in the field.
Hannah graduated with her undergrad in Social Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health and Addictions. She is presently pursuing her Masters of Counselling Psychology to become a Registered Psychotherapist under the Ontario College. She regularly volunteers at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences to further her knowledge and skills. Working at Dryden Medical Pharmacy in conjunction with being a Patient Experience Coordinator at North Whitby Physiotherapy has furthered her understanding of the pharmaceutical side of mental health along with the influence of pain management on one’s psychological wellbeing. During downtime, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the lake, reading, and traveling the world.
Faith is an Executive Office Administration graduate with a history of managing schedules and providing one-on-one assistance in a variety of roles.What she likes most about working at the front desk is that it allows for a combination of her passions in helping others, organization, and creativity.
When not working, she loves stories, whether writing them herself or getting drawn into books, TV series/movies, or games.
Alice is one of the front desk administrators who are here to help you in your healthcare journey. She comes with lots of experience working in various roles in hotels and office management at other wellness clinics. Alice is a mother to 2 beautiful boys and you can often find her cheering them on at the ball diamond, in the arena or side of the pool. Along with growing her own food vertically in her backyard, she loves camping with her family and in the winter months cross-country skiing.
Annika is one of the Physiotherapy Assistants at the clinic. She is a recent Bachelor of Health Science graduate and aspires to continue her studies in the field of Health Science. At the clinic, Annika assists the physiotherapists by teaching exercises to patients, provides various treatment modalities, and helps to keep the clinic in order. Annika is passionate about health promotion and wellness, and enjoys biking and hiking in her free time.
Mansi is one of the Physiotherapy Assistants at the clinic. She studied physiotherapy and graduated in india. At present she’s gaining more knowledge! Proven ability to assist in rehabilitation exercises, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
She has a passion for cooking, experimenting with new recipes to create delicious meals for friends and family.
Sammy is one of the Physiotherapy Assistants at the clinic. He is a kinesiology student at Ontario Tech University completing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Sammy is also a student trainer for the men’s basketball team at Durham College and has done it for 2 years working with basketball athletes. At the clinic, he assists and works alongside the physiotherapists by teaching exercises to patients, provides various treatment modalities, and helps to keep the clinic clean and maintained.
When not at the clinic, Sammy enjoys going to the gym, playing and watching basketball, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Tatiana works at the clinic as a physiotherapy assistant. She is presently enrolled at Ontario Tech University to finish her bachelor's degree in kinesiology. At the clinic, Tatiana's duties include helping the physiotherapists with exercise prescriptions and modality treatments. She prioritizes patient care and has a strong interest in wellness and fitness. To the best of her ability, Tatiana also cares about sharing her knowledge and teaching patients.Tatiana likes to bake, read, and work out when she's not at the clinic.
Emileigh is currently in her final year of undergraduate studies in Kinesiology and is planning to apply to both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy programs this winter.
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, Emileigh has gained valuable hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals, further fueling her passion for helping individuals improve their mobility, strength, and overall well-being.
Having played soccer her entire life as a goalkeeper, Emileigh has developed a deep understanding of injury prevention, recovery, and the importance of teamwork.
